The 2024 Hammond Organ Workshop is a highly informative, intensive, and hands-on learning experience with Every Lessons, LLC Founder, Dr. Austin Woodlin. He will break down fundamental organ concepts and help take your organ skills to the next level! This is designed for all musicians who desire to:
-Learn to play the organ
-Learn Hammond organ controls/mechanics
-Learn or improve proper organ technique
-Learn or improve organ styles for gospel worship services
-Improve overall musicianship
-And more!
Invite young, budding musicians who are off of school, keyboardists who would like to play organ, and organists who desire to hone their skills.
DATES*:
The 2024 Summer Organ Workshop will consist of five (5) two-hour organ group organ classes on the following dates (Thursdays):
Thurs, June 20 - 10am-12pm: Beginner organ workshop. 1pm-3pm: Intermediate organ workshop
Thurs, June 27 - 11am-1pm: Beginner organ workshop. 2pm-4pm: Intermediate organ workshop
Thurs, July 11 - 10am-12pm: Beginner organ workshop. 12:45pm-2:45pm: Intermediate organ workshop
Thurs, Aug 1 - 11am-1pm: Beginner organ workshop. 2pm-4pm: Intermediate organ workshop
Thurs, Aug 22 - 11am-1pm: Beginner organ workshop. 2pm-4pm: Intermediate organ workshop
*Each workshop builds on top of the previous one, so it is recommended to attend as many as possible.
LOCATION:
All workshops will be held at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2800 W. Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152, in the Choir Room. Zoom will also be available as a virtual location. Video recordings will be made available to everyone after each workshop.
COST:
Each 2-hour workshop cost is $50. The registration fee covers the first workshop that you attend. The total for 5 workshops is $250.
